yamaha vino
i’ve never ridden one of these, but folks say it’s a pretty close competitor to a honda metro. unlike the metro, though, yamaha used to make the 50cc vino (vino 50, vino classic) with 2 stroke motors from 2001 to 2006. from 2007 onwards, all vinos were 4-stroke. not necessarily better, but probably worth more as a result.

4/22/12: $1200, framingham, 2007 with 66 miles, blue. 66 miles? this sounds like a pretty solid deal if you like the vino’s styling.
4/21/12: $1200, avon, 2007 with 4474 miles, grey/black.
2/21/12: $1300, cambridge, 2006 with “low” miles, black. seems like it’s in very good condition. reposted on 2/2/12 for more money (!), $1600, with updated mileage: under 1000 miles.
1/31/12: $400, new bedford, 2005 with unknown miles, unknown color. some scratches and a crack. the price is right, though, as long as it runs.
11/26/11: $1100, newport (ri), 2002 with 2619 miles, burgundy. a few scratches.
10/20/11: $999, newport (ri), 2006 with 1065 miles. new battery. whitewall tires and woodie side panels. looks pretty cool! price lowered to $900 on 11/10/11.
9/7/11: $1300, nashua (nh), 2007 with 4470 miles, black.
8/22/11: $1800, newport (ri), 2005 with 1400 miles, black. looks like it’s in really good shape, but i think this is too much for a 2005 scooter.
