scooter pic of the day: i’m a scooter nerd, so this star trek scoot is pretty much right up my alley. that said, even i couldn’t bring myself to drive this around. still, fun to admire someone else’s ride.
scooter pic of the day: a coco taxi, apparently a common vehicle in cuba. cuba has the coolest vehicles.
scooter pic of the day: a honda beat (aka, honda fc50). only manufactured in 1983, and pretty much only sold in japan. weird looking, but actually kinda neat. considering it was just a 50cc scooter, this thing had gauges on its dash for everything— two-stroke oil low light, a light on the speed dial that flashed when you exceeded 35 kph, and engine temp. the scooter also had v-tacs, a honda system that allowed the rider to manually adjust a valve on the exhaust while riding for optimal power. i also like the dual car-like headlights.
scooter pic of the day: frankly, this picture scares me a little bit. but since (most) designers of vehicles know that the front of the vehicle usually looks like a face, it’s fun to see this zuma owner embrace it. really well done.

scooter pic of the day: a wheelchair accessible scoot. no longer are the wheelchair bound limited to giant vehicles. as long as the weather is good, this has GOT to be a more fun and convenient way to get around town.
scooter pic of the day: in cities everywhere, it’s common to see an unfortunate bike that has been stripped of its seat and wheels. it’s even sadder to see it happen to a scoot.

scooter pic of the day: these two seem to be prepared for anything! i wonder if they’ve lined up corporate sponsorships, or if they just really like stickers. i can’t tell what scoots they’ve got— maybe vespas with knobby tires? there is some serious caked-up mud on the license plates and spare tires.
scooter pic of the day: fall is here, and snow is just around the corner. most of us pack it in for the winter once the snow comes, but not everyone! i would be pretty pleased with myself if i rolled up to work in this modified ruckus. though maybe not as happy as this guy is.
