scooter pic of the day: a honda beat (aka, honda fc50). only manufactured in 1983, and pretty much only sold in japan. weird looking, but actually kinda neat. considering it was just a 50cc scooter, this thing had gauges on its dash for everything— two-stroke oil low light, a light on the speed dial that flashed when you exceeded 35 kph, and engine temp. the scooter also had v-tacs, a honda system that allowed the rider to manually adjust a valve on the exhaust while riding for optimal power. i also like the dual car-like headlights.
