kymco, a reputable taiwanese manufacturer of scooters, makes the 4 stroke agility. i think there’s a knockoff chinese scooter brand with the agility brand name— don’t be fooled into thinking it’s the same scooter. kymco also makes the agility in larger engine sizes.
kymco agility (50cc):
3/24/13: $500, melrose, 2007 with 7000 miles, blue/black. the miles are a little high, but this is still a solid price for a solid scooter. go buy this already! if you don’t like, it you can probably sell it for $600 in a week or two when the weather gets nicer.
8/30/12: $700, kittery (me), 2009 with 400 miles, black/silver. if it runs well and you can transport it back to boston, this seems like a great deal for a quality scoot.
8/1/12: $1100, somerville, 2012 with 1400 miles, blue. derestricted, and can hit 47 mph. i usually don’t put modded scooter here, but it looks pretty stock. reposted on 8/26/12 for a higher(!) price of $1200.
6/2/12: $845, jamaica plain, 2007 with 1237 miles, red/black. minor scrapes, front left blinker held on with tape. if you know your scooter is going to get a little beat up anyways, you could do worse than this apparently reliable scooter.
7/26/11: $1100, brookline/watertown, 2009 with 1800 miles, some performance mods to increase top speed, red and black. reposted on 8/28/11. reposted 10/19, price lowered to $900.
7/25/11: $1000, brookline/jp, 1700 miles, runs, but turn signals and electric start don’t work, silver and black. hm. really? $1000 for a kymco 50cc scooter with janky electrics? price lowered to $980 on 8/22/11; still probably not worth it. reposted on 8/29/11.
6/5/12: $1300, quincy, 2007 with 2000 miles, red/black. seems like a solid deal for a good 125cc scoot.
