scooter pic of the day: the new york times profiled scooter bottega (a scooter service shop in red hook) yesterday, as well as their owner, robbie rhodes. nice to see that the scooter scene is growing in brooklyn!
scooter pic of the day: in 1962 two university students on a trip around europe met salvador dali in cadaques, spain. he decorated their scooter with his signature and the name of his partner gala. on display at the museo piaggio.
scooter pic of the day: i saw this very nice vespa gt200 parked outside the gym at my school in chestnut hill last week. i’ve never seen it on campus before. is it a student’s? a parent’s? another staff member’s? i hope it didn’t get hit by an errant lacrosse ball. i like the larger frame vespas; they’ve got a little more power, but they don’t look like big clunky maxi scooters.
